COUNTY LEGISLATURE EXPLORES TELEVISING MEETINGS.(Capital Region)

The County Legislature is looking into ways to broadcast its meetings on cable television, but only if the price is right.

Legislator Robert Reilly of Colonie said he expects that a system could be purchased and installed for less than $50,000, an amount OK with him but likely to ruffle some of his colleagues.

Lawmakers have been considering the idea since last year, when Legislator Kevin Moss of Guilderland suggested implementing a system used by the Guilderland Town Board.
